KOKUSAI DENKI’s next generation 4K Ultra HD broadcast and live production camera system incorporates three 2/3”, global shutter 9MPixel CMOS image sensors. Native 4K sensors enable pristine capture of 3840x2160 UHD video. Expanded spectral range with a new prism design and high-performance sensors enables full-range BT.2020 Wide Color Gamut. Dual 4K and HDTV workflow supports separate controls for three types of High Dynamic Range (HDR) and standard dynamic range (SDR), maximizing production versatility and efficiency. The SK-UHD7000 is ideal for a wide range of applications – from broadcasters archiving their productions, to live production companies striving to offer the utmost quality to their clients, to houses of worship future-proofing their facilities with life-like video.
Digital signal processing in the SK-UHD7000 takes place in the Ultra-scale multiprocessor system on a chip. This new DSP is an advance and has many capabilities. The SDP devices provide 64-bit processor scalability while combining real-time control with soft and hard engines for video, and packet processing. Provides next-generation programmable engines, security, reliability and scalability from 32 to 64 bits.
Having (3) RGB sensors producing full, uncompressed UHD requires 12Gbps of optical bandwidth. The SK-UHD7000 supports 12Gbps up and down (Rx & Tx) using standard SMPTE 311M type Hybrid Fiber-optic cables for connection between the Camera Head and the Control Unit.
From the camera Head 2x 12G Full 4K /HD-SDI Switchable signals are available for 4K and 2K stand alone and wireless operation, AUX -1080p-3G IN Trunk Video available which can be used also for HD –SDI PROMPTER and additional VBS PROMPTER available as standard.
2 separate Return line available for the Cameraman viewfinder (x4) and for Floor Monitors (x2) SK-HD7000 with New generation Global Shutter image sensors and Built in Low pass Filter (LPF) can easily adapt to a wide range of difficult LED lighting conditions. No Image Skew, No Flash, No Jitter and No Banding scanning effect as well as No Moire visible on the image.
Camera Control Units
The CU-UHD7000 CCU connects via full-bandwidth, uncompressed, native 4K signals via SMPTE 311M hybrid fiber optic cable over distances up to 2KM. 12G-SDI, single-link connectivity also provides 4K output directly from the camera head. Integrated HD down-conversion offers 1080p, 1080i, or 720p output also 4xHFR (3G,1,5G) for multi-format productions. Embedded audio is available on all SDI outputs and as listen-channels on the intercom. A trunk data interface supports video transport and control of TCP/IP-capable devices. The new camera also retains compatibility with existing KOKUSAI DENKI control panels and third-party control systems.
With CU7K Optional ST-2110 Interface board with software defined ST-2110 processing functions of A/V over IP up to 12G-SDI Uncompressed Video Standards available for live production as well as remote production included 4xHFR (High frame rate) . With optional JPEG-XS software it can be switched to the (compressed) ST2110-22 JPEG-XS application on the fly when needed.
The CU7K interface board has 2 SFP 25G/10G slots fully redundant ST2022-7 and support NMOS Control and PTP.
With web-based software control application, all MOIP multi-camera settings can be set easily.
Note: 4K and HFR video are optional software licenses for combined camera head.
CU-UHD7000 has IP Tally (TSL UMD V5.0) and SNMP V2 support. Compatible for 3rd party BCS (Broadcast control systems).

iCR-7000 Integrated Camera Recorder is a compact 1U rack size recorder designed to fit and integrate with KOKUSAI DENKI camera control unit series 650 and 7000, for 4K UHD/HD/HDR/SDR recording/acquisition for Live productions, with unprecedented flexibility.
The iCR-7000 together with KOKUSAI DENKI camera SK-UHD7000 is able to record either 4K UHD/HDR and HD/SDR signals simultaneously, making the system ideal for 4K UHD/HDR and HD/SDR simulcasting live productions.
While operating in HDR mode, the KOKUSAI DENKI camera SK-UHD7000 can produce simultaneous HD/SDR output with dedicated shading controls, at same time
the iCR-7000 acquires both HDR and SDR feeds and produces separate HDR and SDR files to satisfy production requirement.
The iCR-7000 recorder is built-in two slots of removable media for acquisition (off-the-shelf SSD, selected models) as well as network interface for real-time transfer of growing captured files for fast turnaround production, allowing edit-while-recording.
File formats and essence can be selected among a broad range of flavors, to satisfy NLE post-productions requirements.
During recording, files are created as growing file in real time into removable SSD and/or networked storage.
Recorded files to removable SSD are available immediately after shooting, saving time without waiting for file transfers.
The two built-in removable media slots can be used as mirror to produce two copies of same material or in rollover mode from SSD to SSD ensuring long recording times for the most demanding projects.
Control Panels
The high-performance touchscreen Remote Control Unit RU-1500JY-R1/-S3/S11 is connected to the Camera Control Unit (CCU) for remote operation of the camera or directly to the SK-HD camera series or Z-HD camera series. The RU-1500JY-S3&S11 has at on the top panel are lit by back light. Operators can see signs on the panel in the dark operation room.
All key Camera Control functions, such as the one touch color temperature function, makes the RU-1500JY-R1/-S3/S11 ideal not only for professional TV studios but also for OB van use. Lens iris control, pedestal control and preview switch are assembled with an axis joystick control knob (RU-1500JY/-S3/S11). The camera can be easily adjusted using the 3.5 inch LCD touchscreen panel and rotary encoders. Custom switches further support the professional user in designing a personal workflow.
Main control items are:
Camera power on/off, auto setup execution, save data file (scene file 0 to 8), manual adjustment using the rotary encoder and knobs, various on/off controls, PIX & WF video output select.

The SU-1000 Setup Control Unit is used for the adjustment of camera parameters in a multi-camera production environment.Utilizing a new wide touch screen LCD panel that expands control functions.
It is connected directly to each CCU in parallel fashion via serial data cable, 12 cameras can be directly controlled from the SU-1000. Serial Camera control can be extended from 12 cameras up to 48 cameras(option).
RJ45 Network control up to 128 camera with a distance of up to 100 meters (with repeater this can be extended).
The compact and lightweight SU-1000 features Color LCD indicators in the display section to easily identify and access the provided control parameters. The unit is sufficiently small and lightweight enough to be used in space deprived locations such as encountered on a broadcast OB Van.

RU-1000: Small form-factor, basic remote control panel.
The RU-1000VR is a compact remote operation panel designed for easy operation of standard camera functions. Iris and master black adjustments employ "VR-type" rotary knob controls and commonly used controls and functions are directly and instantaneously accessible to the video control engineer.
Large Lens Adapter
SA-1100: Heavy-duty, large box lens adapter and system expansion unit for studio and field production. Designed for use with all KOKUSAI DENKI HTDV portable cameras.
SA-1100-S1 Heavy-duty, large box lens adapter and system expansion unit for studio and field production. Designed for use with KOKUSAI DENKI SK-UHD7000 Series portable cameras. The SA-1100-S1 and a camera are connected by one connector, therefore it is easy to buildup. Enable full studio camera system operation to use monitor select, filter disk selection, viewfinder display and etc. on the back panel.
